On June 24, 2021, CCI organized a virtual seminar for technology engineering students at The Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL) entitled “Modern Infrastructures – Virtualization Anywhere”.

During the session, we briefed students about CCI and ICC group, our mission, partnerships and achievements.

The seminar mainly covered the benefits of virtualization solving the challenges in traditional physical datacenters, the core storage concepts and different access protocols. Use cases and pros/cons for each type were shared with the students for a clearer understanding.

The second part of the seminar focused on VMware products; the concept of software defined datacenter (SDDC) with the different layers of virtualization (Server, Storage, Network, Desktop, app modernization) and how VMware is shaping the future of cloud computing using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). VMware Virtual Cloud Network (VCN) portfolio and the benefits of software defined networking with NSX, NSX Advanced load balancing, VMware SD-WAN, and cloud migration strategies via Hybrid Cloud extension.

We were delighted to be part of IUL students post-graduation guidance journey. We want them to be on the right track, get the right experience and certifications to be competitive in the market and excel in their careers.
